Hosted URL included. Zero infra setup. Your code.

Every Persoona-deployed website ships with an included <slug>.pdemo.dev URL — SSL, CDN, no Vercel/Supabase setup required. Unlike visual builders, the site is real Next.js + Supabase code you own and can move anywhere.

Frequently asked

Hosting FAQ

  • Is hosting included?

Yes. Every Persoona-deployed website gets a <slug>.pdemo.dev URL with SSL + global CDN included with your subscription — no separate hosting bill, no extra setup. Solo includes 1 shared hosted website per workspace.

  • What's <slug>.pdemo.dev?

It's the apex domain Persoona uses to host user-launched websites. <slug> is built from your founder profile slug + your idea name, so jordan-fitflow.pdemo.dev is founder Jordan's FitFlow website. Clean, brand-neutral, fine to share with investors or customers while you wait to register your own domain.

  • Can I move to my own domain later?

Yes. Attach any custom domain you own (yourbrand.com, yourbusiness.ai, etc.) via the Build dashboard. Persoona configures the DNS + SSL automatically; the original pdemo.dev URL stays live as a 308 redirect so any links you shared still work.

  • Do I own the code?

Yes. Your website is a real Next.js + Supabase project that lives in your own GitHub repo (or Persoona's shared GitHub org for shared-infrastructure deploys). You can pull the code, run it locally, modify it, deploy it anywhere, unlike Wix where the site is locked into their platform.

  • What if pdemo.dev goes down or Persoona shuts off the apex?

Your code is yours regardless. Even if pdemo.dev disappears tomorrow, the Next.js codebase is in GitHub + Vercel and can be re-pointed at any apex by changing one environment variable (PERSOONA_DEMO_APEX_DOMAIN) and a sitemap regen.

  • How is this different from Wix?

Three differences. (1) You own the code. Wix locks you into their platform. (2) Your site is real Next.js + Supabase you can modify; Wix sites are visual-editor exports. (3) Persoona is built for founders building businesses, so the deploy comes with intellectual-property analysis, website planning, growth + capital readiness in the same workspace. Wix is built for 'I need a brochure site by tomorrow' and is great at that.

  • What's the catch?

Shared-infrastructure sites run on Persoona's shared Vercel + Supabase (subject to fair-use limits + the platform's billing cap). Heavy production traffic or sensitive workloads should graduate to your own Vercel + Supabase accounts via the bring-your-own deploy path. Solo ($29.99/mo) bundles 1 shared hosted website per workspace plus bring-your-own deploys.
