Do I need to sign up to see template recommendations?
No. The recommendations + template detail pages are public. Sign-up is only required when you SAVE a generated plan or want Persoona to deploy the live MVP to Vercel + Supabase.
How does Persoona pick the matching templates?
The recommender scores all 1,000 templates against your idea text using a weighted keyword + tag + industry match. Best-fit templates rank first; we return up to 8. The full scoring engine lives at lib/templates/match.ts and ships with the site.
Can I just take the website plan and build it myself?
Yes. Every template page has a 'Generate your website plan' button that produces sample copy + sitemap + section schemas + integrations + a launch checklist you can hand to a developer or implement yourself. Free to preview, sign-up to save the plan.
How is this different from /start?
/start runs the full 6-module founder journey (Identity → Ideas → IP → Build → Growth → Capital). /build-a-website is JUST the website piece — useful when you already know what kind of business you have and you just need a site for it.
Can Persoona actually deploy the site for me?
Yes — for Pro tier. The Build module's auto-deploy chain provisions a Next.js project on Vercel + a Supabase tenant in your name. For Free tier you can still preview + export the plan.
